About Titus House

Titus House is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping underserved men with a community of love, support, and shelter as they rebuild their lives.

Titus House aims to provide men with a supportive low cost Christian living community where they can grow, obtain a career, live the truth of God’s Word, and equip them for successful transition back into society as a productive citizen while helping to build His Kingdom.

Titus House is not independent from God, but instead exist because of God. We believe in God’s truth. We work on insecurities, insecurity is just a wrong security exposed. The gentlemen of Titus House learn to live in such a way that nothing gets bigger than the awareness of God’s presence in their life. Faith is generated in the atmosphere of experiencing truth and every season of growth is rewarded with pruning.

You can help us with our mission in the Phoenix metro area to help men get back on their feet again, with love support and God’s Word to lead them.

We believe that once men are exposed to the Holy Spirit, miracles occur and transform these once-broken men into new men of God.

Peter said to them, “Each one of you must turn away from your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, so that your sins will be forgiven; and you will receive God’s gift, the Holy Spirit." Acts 2:38

Titus House was named after the Apostle Paul's assistant in the Bible, Titus. Titus' life was radically changed as Paul took the time to mentor and disciple Titus to become all God wanted him to be. As a result, Titus' life was not only changed but so where the lives of many. Read Titus.

Accountability

Accountability and truth is an important standard at Titus House. As men that are now a “new creation,” who are held accountable in all aspects, which provides opportunities to constantly grow and improve the way we live. We will no longer make up excuses for powerlessness because powerlessness is inexcusable.

Living as Gentlemen

At Titus House, we learn how to completely change our old behaviors. Learning to live as gentleman, we do not curse, or use slang. We dress appropriately.  We conduct ourselves the same way inside and outside our community. Arrogance isn't thinking too much of ourselves but thinking too little of others.

Work Ethic

Work ethic is a fundamental part of life. Titus House is dedicated to help improve work ethic to lead a full and productive life. At times, we will be faced with things that we don't want to do, and it's having the ability to push through with a good attitude that helps build a strong foundation. If you want to kill giants, hang around giant killers. That's what happened to David's mighty men.

Community Work Mission Statement

The ministry of community work is about loving God and loving our neighbors. The men of Titus House go out daily to love our neighbors and assist church's in their needs.  Our neighbors are children, senior citizens, veterans, the disabled and all others in our community. But mostly it's about serving the poor - the poor in Spirit. Jesus called us to reach out to people from every nation - we take this charge seriously. For the men at Titus House, community work is an encounter with God through loving our neighbors through service.  The Apostle Paul calls on all followers of Christ to worship God through what they do. Service is this act of worship we are called to. This loving service to our neighbors does not end with practical tasks, rather that is the beginning and a means by which we enter life-giving, supportive relationships with people who struggle in our community.

Residents of Titus House will help cook, clean, build, landscape, and?  we rule with the heart of a servant. We serve with the heart of a king. The Holy Spirit is in us for our sake but he is upon us for yours. We have been given the privilege to host this presence.

Jesus did not go through all His sufferings so we could just go to church; He did what He did to atone for sin. And by doing so He made it possible to raise up a new breed of world changers, those who could maintain the standard He set in love, purity and power. This reality is one of the great prophecies that Jesus spoke: “Greater works than these shall you do because I go to the Father” (see John 14:12). Not only does Jesus’ life compel us to follow the miracle worker, so do His promises.

Our assignment has never been about what we can do for God, but what can God do through us!!
